Hannah Lewis, LMHC

 Owner, Snohomish Counseling Collective

Engaging in therapy can help you identify your strengths and build skills that will allow you to meet changes and challenges in life. I would be honored to support you along this journey.

I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California, and am fully licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Washington. I contract with Washington State University to teach family, parent, and youth courses designed to increase family strengths and enhance child development. My 12 years of experience in the field of mental health also include working as a school-based mental health specialist, and a grief support specialist in a hospice setting providing services to families, running summer grief camps, and facilitating grief support groups for children, child loss, widows/widowers, and sudden, traumatic loss.

My practice includes: Creative, play, and art therapy, outdoor therapy, dream and imaginal work, narrative therapy, CBT, DBT, skills-focused, solution-focused, somatic, psychodynamic, and person-centered. I am a certified yoga instructor through Breathe for Change.

In addition to my work, I enjoy volunteering for the following Organizations:

  • Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County - Foundation Board member

  • Canine Companions - Puppy Raiser, Facility Dog Handler, Volunteer

Services + Billing

I am an out of network provider, meaning I do not bill insurance directly and I do take payment at time of service. I offer receipts for reimbursement that you can provide to your insurance. Many clients receive reimbursement for their care, and appreciate not having limits to their care based on insurance requirements. I am happy to support you in learning more about your billing options.

Intake Session - 80min  $255

Our first appointment together. This is where we review your new client paperwork and what brings you to therapy. We build a plan that best suits your needs, which often includes setting goals. Sometimes are goals are broad, like, "I want a space to share my experiences and feelings" and other times they are more specific like, "I want to experience fewer panic attacks," or "I want to attend school again"

Individual Counseling 50min:  $170

My individual work with adult clients is rooted in depth psychology. This means I will help you take the time to look deeply at unconscious motives and processes. We will explore any places in your life where you may feel stuck, and work together creatively to build you new pathways to healing. My approach to individual counseling includes dreamwork and art therapy.

Kid + Adolescent Counseling 50min:  $170

Care Team Consultations >15min:  $150

Facing challenges and changes as a youth can be especially difficult. I work with kids aged 10 - 17 for support socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. This work often includes focus on self-awareness and self-management, developing relationship skills, and practicing responsible decision making. I specialize in working with youth who are experiencing school avoidance, anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation. I enjoy doing walk-and-talk therapy through Snohomish and on Centennial Trail, and offering expressive and art therapy as a way of processing emotions.

Being on your child's care team can include being an advocate for them outside of the therapy office. From supporting the development or re-evaluation of a 504, IEP, BIP, or FBA, to participation in a disciplinary hearing, I can work with your school or care team to make sure your child's mental health needs are met and supported.

Family Counseling 50-80min:  $170-$255

I can work with your family to establish and reach common goals, build communication and regard, and develop core skills.

Consultation, Supervision + Trainings:  $150 per hour

Canine - Assisted Work has long been a part of my practice. I raise and train service dogs for Canine Companions, an organization that provides service dogs at no cost to individuals with disabilities. I also work with Bruce, a fully trained Facility Dog and Tressa, a Therapy dog in-training.
