Hi, I'm Michele.

I have my Master's Degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Before my private practice, I worked as a school-based mental health support specialist. My 8+ years of experience in mental health includes working as a case manager, therapist for intensive outpatient services, therapy in residential facilities, and facilitating groups for grief/loss, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. I have been contracted with Washington State University to teach family, parent, and youth courses designed to increase family strengths and enhance child development. I completed my Perinatal Mental Health certification in March 2024 and am able to support caregivers who are struggling with Postpartum Depression and Anxiety. 

I incorporate different modalities into practice depending on what the client is needing. Some of these are art therapy, CBT, person-centered, somatic, solution-focused and strengths-based. 

Life can be complicated, whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma or just feel like you might benefit from talking to someone that can give you a more objective view of life, counseling may be helpful for you.  I work with people from 9-50 years of age and I have experience with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, family/relationship disruptions and conflicts, school issues and peer interactions.My mission is to support you in finding your hidden potential and give you all the necessary tools to develop, grow and cope with the difficult things life throws at us.
